  • Dr. Mark Dolginoff

Dr. Dolginoff was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He grew up mostly in the suburbs of KC, however spent time on his grandparents' 16 acre farm during the summer months. He loved being around all of the animals on the farm from the cats and dogs to the chickens and cows. His grandparents were too poor to afford a horse.

Dr. Dolginoff began working part time for a veterinarian in Kansas City when I was 16. It was a very small practice and he wore many hats at a very young age. Deciding early in life that veterinary medicine was what he wanted, he was accepted into veterinary school after only two years of undergraduate work and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the age of 24.

He moved to Las Vegas upon graduation in 1974. At that time, the population of the town was 220,000.

Early in his career he worked in organized veterinary medicine, serving one term as president of the Clark County Veterinary Association and as an area representative for American Animal Hospital Association. For a very short time, Las Vegas had a Greyhound Race Track called Las Vegas Downs. Dr. Dolginoff was the State appointed veterinarian employed to supervise Greyhound racing. It was his job was to protect the both the dogs and the betting public from unfair or unsafe practices.

Dr. Dolginoff's special interests in veterinary medicine include: pediatrics, endoscopy, surgery and what I would consider "family" medicine. "I know that if people start out on the right foot, doing the right things with their puppy, that the pet will become an integral member of the family. This becomes a win-win-win situation. The pet lives a long and happy life. The Family receives all the benefits of having a pet. And I get to be involved in all aspects of that pet's care, because the client wants nothing but the best for their family member.

  • Dr. Maressa Gockerman

Dr. Maressa Gockerman was born and raised in Toledo, OH. Growing up, she enjoyed looking after Ginger, her families mischievous but very loving German Shorthair Pointer. In high school, her path to veterinary medicine became evident when she started volunteering at a small animal clinic. "I loved seeing all the different animals that came in and meeting the owners." Now as a veterinarian, Dr Gockerman still becomes excited about challenging cases that walk through the door, meeting new patients and developing lasting relationships with owners.

After graduating from Ohio State University, Dr. Gockerman completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, NJ. She moved to the Las Vegas area in August 2009 with her cat "Oscar" to join the team at Paradise Pet Hospital. Her professional interests include emergency medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Gockerman is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Outside the veterinary world, she enjoys almost anything that involves being outdoors but especially hiking, camping, and skiing.
